Dr. Beth Irlandi from RSMAS at University of Miami will speak at 4:00 on Tuesday Sept. 10 in the Wertheim Conservatory on "Habitat linkages: the effects of intertidal marshes and adjacent subtidal habitat on the abundance and growth of an estuarine fish." Attend this seminar and prepare a short (about 2 pages) critical synopsis of the work presented by Dr. Irlandi. If you can not attend: get references from Jim Fourqurean of 2 papers that Dr. Irlandi has suggested. Write your critical synopsis on these papers.
